You should avoid

opening your umbrella

inside a coffin.

what’s the difference)

 

The rain in there

though frequent

     is impossible

When you write poems about ships you ‘d better mention the sea.

Or else, the boat will remain stuck in the mud

unable to act or move, trapped in a territory

that forever failed to become a seabed.

So, mentioning the sea is good. Otherwise, after a while, the ship

will begin to rust inside the poem.

In the summer

when you stand amid a dried stream

try to listen.

This is not the sound

of tomorrow’s stream,

this is not the sound

of yesterday’s winter.

This is the border of the void

silently

claiming your absence.

In case you are a virgin

you should avoid gardens.

Particularly the ones with lilies.

If you somehow get involved with these flowers

there is always a chance

that you may start

- unwillingly -

a whole new religion.

Όταν γράφεις ποιήματα για πλοία είναι καλό να αναφέρεις τη θάλασσα.

Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση το όχημα θα παραμείνει σκαλωμένο στο χώμα, αδυνατώντας να κουνηθεί ή να δράσει, εγκλωβισμένο σε μια επικράτεια που δεν κατάφερε ποτέ της να γίνει βυθός.

Είναι καλό λοιπόν να αναφέρεις τη θάλασσα. Αλλιώς, μετά από λίγο, το πλοίο θα αρχίσει να σκουριάζει μέσα στο ποίημα.

 

22.

Όταν κατά τη διάρκεια του καλοκαιριού

Στέκετε στην μέση ενός ξεραμένου χειμάρρου

Προσπαθήστε να ακούσετε.

Δεν είναι ο ήχος

Του αυριανού χειμάρρου

Δεν είναι ο ήχος

Του χθεσινού χειμώνα

Είναι η οριοθέτηση του κενού

Που σιωπηλή

Διεκδικεί την απουσία σου.

 

25.

Σε περίπτωση που είστε παρθένος/α

Είναι καλύτερο να αποφεύγετε τα μποστάνια.

Και πιο συγκεκριμένα αυτά που περιέχουν κρίνους.

Σε περίπτωση που μπλεχτείτε σε κάποιο περιστατικό με αυτά τα φυτά

Υπάρχει πάντοτε το ενδεχόμενο

Να αρχίσετε

–άθελά σας-

μια καινούρια θρησκεία.
